More Photos at the Lake

H holding onto Titus.

Swimming at the lake. The water was GREAT!

Three household of KIDS on the swim raft!

Our neighbor, Craig sitting on the beach, waiting for his kids.

In the evening, H had a couple of the neighbor girls over to stay the night. They made a batch of chocolate chip cookies for give as a Father's Day gift to their dads on Sunday.

They were YUMMY COOKIES!

"R" Caught a BIG FROG!

R caught this BIG frog by our dock at Blue Lake. I think this is the biggest one he's caught since we've been at the lake!

Cedar Point Trip

On June 15th and 16th we went to Cedar Point. H was going with her band group from school. Of course, R wanted to go too... So, we made a family trip out of it.

R invited a friend to come along for the trip. It was her first visit to Cedar Point too.

Standing in line for the IRON DRAGON.

R and I are watching the TOP TRILL DRAGSTER.

We're standing in line to get on the MAVERICK. R wouldn't do any of the rides that would go upside down. The biggest coaster that we could get him on, was the GEMINI.

Of course, he liked driving the cars.

Here is Jim with the girls on SKYHAWK. One ride on this one was enough for me.

Here is H waiting to get on the MILLENNIUM FORCE. Wicked FAST and very high up!

Jim & R on the bumper cars.

The kids are locked up in TIMBER TOWN.

If you want to get wet, go on THUNDER CANYON. I went on it once and that was enough water for me. I stayed back and took this photo as the went on the ride again.

Here we are on the TOP THRILL DRAGSTER! The fastest coaster in the US (maybe the world). R didn't go on it, but he was able to take some pictures.

Here's the kids in front of a dragster car outside of the Top Thrill Dragster ride.

"R's" Birthday Party! June 6th, 2009

Saturday was R's official 10th BIRTHDAY!

H made him a birthday cake. This was her first try at a cake. She did a great job!

Despite the cold weather (high of 62), the kids still spent most of the day IN the POND!

R took a leap into the pond.... Look cold?

Here's H (in the middle) with 2 of her friends.

Time to open presents.

Time to blow out the candles and eat some cake! It was yummy! The kids eat all of the cake! (Good job H!)

Blow!!!
Back to the POND! (Tons of photos here)

It was sort of chilly, so a campfire sounded really good.

After the party, 5 of the boys stayed the night in a tent and the 3 girls stayed out in a different tent. It poured rain that night. The boys tent faired pretty well, but the girls got wet. I have to give them credit though.... they all stayed out there until after 9 am!

Fishing Blue Lake

Tis the season for FISHING! And the fishing is awesome!
We should have been out in the lake sooner, but this is the first chance we've gotten to get out there and drop a hook (or 4) in.

I think "H" caught her shoe laces more than she did fish! Those hood don't come out of show laces very easy. Next time I'm sticking her in the paddle boat!

Another nice bass!

Check out all of these white bugs! Not sure if they are considered moths or something else. Believe it or not, they didn't really bother us. They seemed to move out of the way when we went through them.
Clouds of white bugs! The fish loved eating them! The fish were jumping out to grab a mouth full of these bugs, left and right!

R holding onto a nice bluegill.
