Memorial Day Yard Work

Memorial Weekend was lovely.
Monday evening was spent raking weeks out of the lake.

"R" thinks he can catch a fish with his net. (NOT!)

Jim is raking muck and weeds out of the lake and onto shore.

Surveying work to be done and thinking "I'm done with this for tonight!"

"R" caught himself a beautiful frog.

Then he caught another one. This time, with a handful of oozing mud!

"R" with our German Shepherd, Angel. (No... he didn't end up catching any fish with that net).

Around the House

This Blue Heron was searching for his breakfast one morning this past week.

"H" planted my flowers last week. She did a great job. She's been watering them every day.

Tired Kids

Soccer and Baseball takes a lot out of the kids. Major SNOOZE time after the games.

Mother's Day Visit

We had a nice Mother's Day. My Mom and Dad came up for a short visit today. We went to the Riverwalk Grill in Gladwin, for dinner. Then we came back and we went for a walk. (Dad stayed back and watched his golf game).

Pictured above, is 3 generations. Aren't we three CUTE?

Here's my Dad and I. I really like this picture too!

Here's R saying good-by to Snowball. The visits are always too short...

More Photos Around Blue Lake

Do you see the deer under our neighbor's deck. There were actually 3 under there, but you can only see one of them clearly.

I chased the Goose off of the lake this morning. Oh well... They POOP all over the place anyway.

Another AMAZING morning on Blue Lake

Fish in Blue Lake

I actually took FISH pictures, out on Blue Lake this morning.
That's right... FISH!

Check out this Crappie! He was about 4 ft down from the surface and tilted sideways to look up at me, in my Kayak. He's a big one, but I saw some bigger ones that wouldn't come out of the tangle of trees, under the water.

Can you see the Crappie? This is a BIG ONE! This may have been 10 inches long (give or take). It was at least 3 to 3.5 foot under the surface and didn't want to move from it's spot.

This bass seems to hang around by boat. He's probably about 3.5 ft under the surface of the water. I'm going to guess that he is approx 16 inches long... give or take. Not the biggest one in the lake, but nice!

My MOM Said that I need to post more STUFF on here!
