Beautiful Snowy Day at the Lake!

We woke up to a beautiful morning of fresh snow. All of lower Michigan seemed to get socked with a bunch of snow. It made for a picture perfect day!

And that's just what I did! Took a bunch of pictures!

I took a picture of the Chalet from across the lake this after noon and made this pretty Christmas Card photo!

We Got MORE SNOW!!!

Michigan got socked with a bunch of snow last night.

Gladwin County got hit with their share too.

I didn't measure what we have, but I'm going to guess that we got about 7 inches of snow, give or take.

By the way, it's always 60 degrees out!

No matter whether is winter, spring, summer or fall! LOL!!!

The Kids Didn't Have School Wednesday!

Yet, another snow day! This was the 3rd one this year, and it's not even offically WINTER yet!

Here is a picture of our yard Wednesday morning. Heather had made a snowman the night before.

Here's Nick, Ryan, FunJin (I don't know how to spell his name) and Heather. The kids were sleding all day Wednesday! I heard that FunJin accidently landed his sled and himself in the creek! He was drenched, and I'm sure it was cold! They had a great time!

To explain this series of photos a little bit, let me tell you a little bit about IZZY the cat.

Izzy will go out of her way to punch the dogs at will. She fusses at them and tries to tell them where to go. However, sometimes she will get a little lovey dovey with the dogs, and they just don't know what to think of her. Here is one of those moments. Notice the look on Dixie's face.
