I thought nit might be fun to put some Gladwin photos up. Some of these I've posted before, but others might be new.
Here is our house, in Sugar Springs. It's just a basic ranch... no bells or whistles here! BUT it's comfortable.
This is our "Retreat in the Woods". This cottage is only about 4 miles from our house. We rent it to other families as a vacation rental. We use it sometimes too, but most of the summer, it's rented out. Heather's B-day party will be there on the 25th of August.
Everyone is invited!Oh, here's our vacation rental web site: http://www.GladwinVacationRentals.com

The photo above was taken last summer at Heather's last b-day party. I'm sure that this year will be just as much fun!
This was a photo that I took at a house around Blue Lake. This cute deer was standing in someone's yard amongst a bunch of Halloween decorations. He seemed right at home!
This photo was taken at the Retreat this past spring. The kids and their friend had a great time playing outside once the weather warmed up!
AWWWWWEEEEEE! Isn't this cute! I cam across this little guy on Meredith Grade road late this past spring. For more photos, you can visit the blog archive for the month of May 2007: http://iviespage.blogspot.com/2007_05_01_archive.html
Here is Ryan in a dump tank with someone from the Billings Twp dive and rescue team, during the Butman Twp Fire Dept open house in June 2007. More photos can be found on the June archive:

This photo was taken at Blue Lake. This is the lake that our other cottage in located on. We used to rent that cottage out as a vacation rental too, but in the past couple months, the home owners association banned vacation rentals. So, now our cottage on this lake is for sale. This photo was taken a couple of springs ago, on Lake Lancer, in Sugar Springs. We dock out boat here. These are our friends on their boat. What a beautiful sunset!
This was another photo of Sugar Springs. I love the pastel colors of the sky, in this photo! For more photos of Sugar Springs, you can visit my Sugar Springs Real Estate web site at:

Here's the condos on Lake Lancer at sunset.

The photo above, was taken on some state land just 10 minutes from our house. The kids and their friend, were standing next to an active beaver dam.

This photo was taken in the fall at Trout Lake on the state land in NW Gladwin County. This was at sunrise. See the three beavers swimming around in the lake. They didn't seem to bothered that I was there.

WOW! I love this photo! This was taken last summer on Lake Lancer. This is one of the most deeply orange sunsets I've ever seen!

This is the beach just down the street from our home. This was taken early in the morning on day in early September of 2006.

This is a photo of our pond again, at the Retreat.

Here is a peacock at a farm on Sugar River Road between our house and the state land to the west. I think this farm was abandoned this summer. The peacocks are still there, but the owners are gone. I hope they make it through the winter.

This is the Cedar River last winter, off of Meredith Grade Road, between our house and our cottage/chalet on Blue Lake.

This is the Chalet last fall. It almost looks like a post card with all of the golden maple trees in full fall color!

This photo was also taken last fall at Hoister Lake. Hoister is located in the NW corner of Gladwin County in the middle of 1000's of acres of state land. I like to take my German Shepherd, "Angel" for walks around these lakes in the fall.

Here is Hoister Lake again. Isn't it lovely?
